This is absolutely the hardest part of a weight loss program. Nutrition doesn't have to be restrictive. Most 'diets' fail because people just can't stick to them. You DO NOT have to give up the foods you like and starve yourself. As a matter of fact, most people don't eat often enough. Eating is good! Let me show you how to gradually adjust your eating habits and learn to make healthier choices over time. Most people find that there are a lot of foods that they like that are very nutritious. Together, we can come up with a nutrition strategy that allows you the ability to enjoy food AND eat healthier.
"My husband and I love John's caring and realistic approach to fitness. I suffered with sciatica in 2000 and it was extremely painful. I was told that it could take two weeks to indefinitely to heal on its own. After years, the worst of the pain had eased. Since we started training with John, almost instantaneously the sciatic pain is gone! My husband and I are extremely happy and grateful for having the most sensitive, knowledgeable, and caring personal trainer--John Abramowicz!"
About your trainer
John's interest in fitness began in 1968. At 11 years old, John was 'husky.' He had a naturally 'heavy' body type. By changing his eating habits and exercising, he lost 25 pounds and found his passion . . . fitness. A three sport athlete in high school, John also boxed and studied martial arts. His love of athletics led him into coaching his daughter and son on their baseball, softball, and basketball teams for 13 years.
In 2005, John became a Certified Fitness Trainer through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) so that he could help others attain the many benefits of a healthy, fit lifestyle.
John's own real-life experience gives him a unique understanding of how to succeed in attaining fitness as efficiently as possible in our busy lives.
John has worked with athletes from junior high through college level. He is associated with physical therapy clinics to stay current on the latest injury rehab techniques. He has worked with patients recovering from stem cell transplants, knee replacements, back surgeries, and rotator cuff surgeries.
