Water (fluid) intake

Yes, I'm sure that you've heard that drinking a lot of water or fluids (8-10 12 ounce glasses) is good for you. It's true, and here are a couple of reasons why:

Virtually every function that your body performs is aided by water: building muscle, burning fat, etc. If you are low on water, you don't perform these tasks efficiently, and your progress is slowed.

You actually burn calories when you drink cold beverages! Burning calories creates heat to warm the liquid to body temperature.

Getting Started

Contact today and set up your free in-home consultation. We will discuss your fitness goal(s) and any physical or health related limitations you might have. Next, we will explain how we can help you reach your goal(s) as quickly and safely as possible.

Your Individualized Program!

Health History:
Before your first session, you will fill out a complete medical and health history form. Depending on your condition, you may also need written permission form your doctor to begin an exercise program. We will work with your doctor, physical therapist, etc. to work within whatever limitations you might have.

Your First Session

 During your first session, you will undergo a fitness assessment, including:

 

  • weight
  • body measurements
  • electronic BMI & bodyfat measurements
  • flexibility
  • muscle strength & endurance
  • core strength
At this time, your BBHF trainer will also go over your nutrition strategy and cardiovascular training regimen.

The Workout 

Listen to your favorite music, the TV, whatever you need to be comfortable and have fun. 
 
Every workout starts with a comprehensive 5-8 min. warm up routine and ends with a cool down routine. You will get a printed version so that in time you can do it before your trainer arrives for your session.

After the warm up, your exercise movements begin. Your trainer will help you master proper form, breathing and range of motion. Your hour will go fast, and you'll feel SO good, because you're doing something good for your body and yourself.
